Hey guy Sorry for the delay in the post, I has been a busy couple of days.
After voting tuesday,
I arived in Lima tuesday evening and crashed in a hostel near the city center. I was planning on hopping a bus the next morning for Cusco, but i over slept. So the next day I walked around and saw the city center.
Lima has great traffic,
And realy cool colonial buildings.
Including the museum of modern art.
Which happened to be free, since they only had one exhibit with 4 pieces of art.
I did happen upon this realy cool bank turned museum. They had a lot of inca pottery. And old textiles.
Including this feather cape.
And a historical text message.
And a carved grannit pillar also from the incan times.
Because of Limas traffic problem they are working on the road infrustucture. However with all the historical buildings, it can be expensive to bore a tunnel, fortunately, Lima has a river flowing through the middle of the city. Solution: move river over, dig tunnel under river bed, put river back.
I can’t decide if this is brilance or insanity.
That night, while walking back to the hostel, this fire station,
With this hiding in the back.
The next morning consisted of me buying a ticket for Cusco, trying to get into the governmental palace (darn you military guards) and finding a half way desent cup of brewed coffee.
Take it easy,
Ps: Just because a Bank has a realy cool old safe made in the US, doesn’t mean ones attempts to close and break into it will be aprietated.
